Myra Anderson

I sit on the Finance & Staffing Sub-Committee, and am the Link Academy Council Member for Hotspur Chapter.

I currently work for the Department of Work and Pensions (DWP) as a Change Project Manager on the Infrastructure Modernisation Programme, designing and implementing a new IT solution (to manage incoming mail) which scans, indexes and automates associated workflow processes. My career thus far has been wholly in the public sector having initially worked for Durham County Council (Local Education Services for 5 years) before joining the Civil Service in 1985 where I've since had the opportunity to undertake a broad range of roles including, Contact Center Operations & Customer Experience Management; Internal Fraud Investigations; Communications, Culture & Leadership Development and Learning Development & HR Management etc.

I was an independent Community Governor with the former Priory Primary School's Governing Body from 2006 where I was involved in the Staffing, Finance and Curriculum Committees as well as being the link governor for Early Foundation Years and undertook the Head Teacher's Performance Reviews. I was delighted to join the newly formed Kings Priory School Academy Council when the school formed in 2013 and my aspiration is to continue to bring both my experience from the world of work and that as a former school governor to support the Kings Priory School in developing a superb learning environment in which all students can achieve their full potential.
