About the Out of School Club

The club is based within the First School. It is open from 7.30am until 6.00pm weekdays, during term time. We also offer holiday care, during February, May and October half-term and Inset Days from 8am to 6pm. The club is available to all children who attend Kings Priory School from Reception to Year 8.

The unit is situated at the back of the Percy Park site with access from St Oswin’s Place. The unit comprises of two playrooms and a TV area.  In addition to this we have our own veranda space, an outdoor water area and direct access onto the school field and yard. We also have use of the ICT suite.

Children are free to play, choose activities and resources as they wish. There will always be a wide selection of activities including dressing up, craft, board games, Lego, construction, physical play, and reading. In addition, planned activities in our creative area are available each session for children to take part in if they wish. From painting to sewing, gluing to paper craft, there’ll be something to please everyone. We have a dedicated Middle School area for our older children.
