PE and Sport Premium

What is the PE & Sports Premium Funding?

As part of a wider initiative to improve participation in sport, the government is providing funding to provide new and substantial primary school sport opportunities and support. Schools receive PE and sport premium funding based on the number of pupils in years 1 to 6. The funding is being jointly provided by the Departments for Education, Health and Culture, Media and Sport. The money can only be spent on sport and PE provision in schools.
