SEND (Special Educational Needs Disability)

Learning Support at Kings Priory School

Kings Priory School is an all-through family school where every pupil is challenged to excel at all they do.  We pride ourselves on the fact that we are a fully inclusive school, with the adaptability to cater for the needs of all individuals.  We endeavour to ensure that all pupils achieve to the best of their ability by nurturing their individual talents and inspiring them to realise their full potential; our ambitious curriculum is designed to be accessible and aspirational.  We strive to provide a quality of education that ensures all pupils have their needs met and we know that high-quality teaching supports students to reach their potential.

We support all pupils with a special educational need and/or disability (SEND), working closely with families to ensure that pupils access the support that they need.  Our approach is needs-based, as it is our belief that no two children are the same.  We regularly adapt our provision, taking the opinions of both parents and pupils into account so that every child gets the education they deserve.

We aim to provide a secure and accessible environment in which all our children can flourish and in which all contributions are considered and valued.  We value the contributions of all families and we know that equality and diversity enriches us all.

At Kings Priory School, we are proud that inclusion is a thread that runs through everything that we do and it is rooted in our school’s core values of Respect, Tolerance & Friendship.
