Your Future, Your Way: Life at Kings Priory Sixth Form
The Sixth Form is often called the most challenging and demanding chapter of your education—but at Kings Priory, it’s also the most rewarding. We combine high academic standards with a supportive, adult environment, ensuring you leave us not just with great grades, but with the confidence to take on the world.
Academic Excellence & Beyond
We offer a robust Post-16 curriculum designed to push your boundaries. While most of our students dive deep into three A Level subjects, some choose to take on four. To ensure you get the support you need, you’ll typically have five dedicated lessons per week for each subject.
Looking to stand out on your UCAS application? We offer additional pathways to sharpen your skills:
• The EPQ: Take control of your learning by researching a topic you’re passionate about.
• Higher Sports Leaders Level 3: Develop your leadership and coaching skills in a practical environment.
A Balanced Student Experience
Life here isn't just about textbooks. We believe in developing the whole person, which is why your timetable includes:
• Tutor Time: Dedicated time with your tutor so that you are well-supported and fully integrated into school life. We also utilise some of this time for intervention and exam preparation.
• Support & Guidance Programme: Dedicated time to focus on your wellbeing and future planning.
• Enrichment: From extra-curricular clubs to taking on leadership roles within the school, we value your voice and your contribution to our community.

Video message from former student
Please watch this short video message (link in image) from former student Rose Howell, now an undergraduate at Cambridge University reading Psychological and Behavioural Science. She joined our sixth form a nearby high school and feels that Kings Priory was a key part of her educational journey. Rose has a message for our external applicants about how welcomed she felt as a new arrival. She was able to play a pivotal role in our sixth form as a prefect, mentor and volunteer.
