As you may know, this year we moved to a new online MIS (Management Information System) called Arbor. A number of weeks ago we sent a copy of the pupil personal information and contact details we hold so that parents could check it for accuracy and update it. All of the updates we received have now been made.
This now means that we are able to roll out the next step of Arbor, which is the Arbor Parent App. This is available for phones and tablets on the Apple & Google Store, or it can be used fully web- based on any computer or device.
The Arbor Parent App will give parents easy access to wide range of information about your child in school and is more two-way than other alternatives. It is our intention, over time, to consolidate as many as possible of the range of systems we currently use into the Arbor system. This will limit the number of different systems that parents need to log onto and, we hope, make your communication with school more convenient and easier to manage.
Download the App and log on
We plan to start using some elements of the Arbor Parent App from February half-term. In preparation for that, we are asking parents to download the App and ensure that you can log in well in advance so that there is plenty of time to help with support cases
Web-based Parent Portal
If you prefer to use a web-based option instead of the App, you can login here. Please note that if you have children who attend different schools, who also use Arbor, you will need to use this school- specific link: https://kings-priory-school.uk.arbor.education
Click the ‘Forgot Password’ button and enter the same email address that is on your primary guardian account. Arbor will then send you an email which allows you to login and set a password for the first time.
Roll out
Please note that when you first login, you will not be able to take many actions: the initial purpose is to get all parents successfully signed up.
The following table is an indication of the information we will be moving to the Arbor Parent App, which system it is replacing, and when we plan on making that change.
