Uniform and Personal Appearance

At Kings Priory School, we believe that school is a vital preparation for life. As such, pupils are expected to take pride in themselves and their personal appearance. Our uniform policy is guided by the principle that pupils should start the day as they mean to go on, fostering a sense of identity, equality, and professional standards across all year groups.

Expectations and Standards

To ensure a consistent and purposeful learning environment, we maintain the following expectations:

Daily Conduct: Pupils must travel to and from school, and arrive on-site, in full school uniform.

Lesson Readiness: Uniform must be worn throughout the day and for all lessons, with the only exception being practical PE classes where the official school PE kit is required.

Events and Visits: Unless explicit alternative permission is granted by the school, full uniform is required for all school trips, visits, and Parents’ Evenings.

We are committed to making our uniform both accessible and environmentally conscious. We encourage our families to utilise our official suppliers and sustainable options:

Sustainable Uniform Shop: In line with our commitment to global citizenship and sustainability,our PTA host a Sustainable Uniform Shop. This initiative provides high-quality, pre-loved uniform items, helping to reduce waste and support our school community.
