First School EYFS - Year 4

First School (EYFS - Year 4) 

Pupils are introduced to the different jobs available through a variety of methods. These include but are not limited to, visits from a range of local employers; assemblies from the Careers Leader, Primary Careers Lead or Careers Co-ordinator and STEMterprise Activities during British Science Week.

Careers awareness is also developed in PSHE lessons.

In 2019-20 Kings Priory School become one of the region’s pilot schools for the Primary School Gatsby Benchmarks – supporting the delivery of careers education in both the First and Middle Schools and continues to actively work towards the adjusted Primary Gatsby Benchmarks.
